Food bank usage has doubled since 2019, according to a recent report from Food Banks Canada. We are hosting a Christmas food drive to support families and individuals experiencing food insecurity. Everyone can make a difference! All donations go to Whitchurch Stouffville Food Bank and the Food Bank of York Region.

Our Speaker, Wilson Yu, is a registered traditional Chinese medicine practitioner in Ontario.
Mr. Yu was previously a special-term professor at the Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. He is now a retired professor at the Faculty of Education, Chinese University of Hong Kong.

We support Mr. Jeffery Cheung and his students' Chinese calligraphy exhibition at the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto. Money raised from this exhibition will be donated to Carefirst Foundation.

Chinese Calligraphy, the art of beautiful writing has a long and rich history. We attended a Chinese Calligraphy Exhibition which was hosted by Mr. Jeffrey Cheung and his students. Money raised will be donated to North York General Foundation.

McExchange interviewed Mr. Guan, founder of Shih Tai Art Gallery in Markham. He is specialized in Chinese dry ink painting, Li style calligraphy and landscape oil painting. His works have been exhibited in North America, China and Singapore; his works won many prizes.
